Read for the Record Story Walk @ Cupertino Library

Jumpstart's "Read for the Record" is a national campaign launched over a decade ago to inspire shared reading and promote early literacy.  On Thursday, October 27th take a walk through the Cupertino Library and read "The Bear Ate Your Sandwich" by Julia Sarcone-Roach which will be on display.  At the end of your library walk, head to the Children's Reference Desk to be counted in the years "Read for the Record".

The English Conversation Club is offered every Thursday morning in the Community Room at 11:00 a.m.  The Club is open to all levels of English language learners.  Meetings are fun social events that help participants improve their English listening and speaking skills.  Participants practice speaking English, make friends, and learn about other cultures in a supportive environment.  Participation is on a drop-in basis.  Fluent English-speakers are welcome to help facilitate conversations of the ESL participants.
